Changes Coming in PMI Requirments?

humbs Up For the Real Estate Market!

Could Good News Be Coming For The Real Estate Market?

I was reading the Realty Times, a newsletter about real estate, and Kenneth R. Harney wrote something I found very interesting that may impact Destin Condo For Sale.

the private mortgage insurance industry, which virtually eliminated low-downpayment financing opportunities in many markets during the past year by declaring them “declining” or “distressed,” has begun reversing course.

Genworth Mortgage Insurance Company last week removed 63 of its 68 previous designations of “declining markets.” That should open up non-FHA cash-out refinancings and low-downpayment home purchase mortgages to thousands of people who’d been squeezed out under the old rules.

I have a couple of my banker friends looking into what, if any, impact this will have on Destin Condos For Sale and will post what I find out soon. For more information give us a call or text us at 850-217-7618.

You can also find out more about Watersound Foreclosures and Short Sales by going to the At The Beach Watersound website and the At The Beach FL for information about South Walton County Condo Foreclosures and Short Sales. Also be on the lookout for At The Beach Panama City which should be up and running soon!

Panama City Bay County International Airport

Panama City Bay County International Airport has been under construction since January 2008. This is the first airport built in the United States since 9/11. Northwest Florida is expecting the grand opening in late May 2010!

Airport authorities are brain storming for airport names and will decide on a name on September 22nd, when they meet again. They are asking members of the public for suggestions, email newpfn@gmail.com to present your ideas to the Board members.

The Panama City – Bay County International Airport Authority is going to have some of the latest equipment in security technology called The Checked Baggage Inspection System. This equipment is designed to enhance screening capabilities and airport safety and also facilitate customer service.
